Taking Attendance

  1. Go to Academic → Attendance.
  2. Select your Class, Section, and today's Date.
  3. Click Load Students.
  4. Mark each student as Present, Absent, Late, or Excused.
  5. Add a remark for any student if needed.
  6. Click Submit Attendance.

Do this every day at the start of class. Once submitted, attendance is saved and visible to the school admin and in reports.

What Happens After You Submit

  • The school admin can see attendance in the Reports Dashboard.
  • Parents receive an SMS notification if their child is marked absent (if enabled by admin).
  • Students can see their own attendance record in the Student Portal.

Correcting a Mistake

If you made an error, load the same class/section/date again. The previously saved statuses will be shown — change what needs correcting and click Update Attendance.
