Getting Started
Welcome to Genius SMS! This guide walks you through logging in for the first time and finding your way around the system.
Step 1 — Open the System
Open your browser and go to your school's Genius SMS URL (provided by your administrator), for example:
https://yourschool.geniussms.comStep 2 — Log In
- Enter your Email and Password on the login page.
- Click Sign In.
Your login credentials are provided by your school administrator. If you have not received them, contact your admin.
Forgot Your Password?
Click Forgot password? on the login page, enter your email address, and follow the instructions sent to your inbox.
Step 3 — You Are Redirected to Your Dashboard
After logging in, the system automatically takes you to the correct dashboard for your role:

Step 4 — Explore the Sidebar
The sidebar on the left is your main navigation. It only shows the sections relevant to your role — you will not see anything you do not have access to.
- Click any menu item to open that section.
- Click the arrow button (◀ / ▶) at the top-right of the sidebar to collapse or expand it.
Step 5 — Switch Dark / Light Mode
Click the moon / sun icon in the top-right corner of the screen to toggle between dark and light mode.
