Announcements
Post announcements that are visible to students, parents, teachers, or everyone.
Creating an Announcement
- Go to Communication → Announcements.
- Click Add Announcement.
- Fill in:
- Title
- Body — the full announcement text
- Audience — choose who sees it:
- All (everyone in the school)
- Students only
- Parents only
- Staff only
- A specific class
- Pin this announcement — pinned announcements appear at the top with an amber highlight
- Publish Date
- Click Save.
Editing or Deleting an Announcement
Find the announcement in the list and click Edit or Delete from the Actions column.
Messages
Send and receive private messages between staff members.
- Go to Communication → Messages.
- Click Compose.
- Select the recipient, enter a subject and message body.
- Click Send.
Your inbox shows all received messages. Click any message to read and reply.
SMS / Email Blast
Send a bulk message to all students, all parents, or a specific class.
- Go to Communication → SMS/Email Blast.
- Choose the channel — SMS or Email.
- Select your audience (all students, all parents, a specific class, etc.).
- Write your message.
- Click Send — the message is queued and delivered in the background.
SMS requires your school's SMS gateway to be configured in Settings.
Notifications
The bell icon in the top-right corner shows system notifications such as:
- New leave requests awaiting approval
- Fee payment confirmations
- New admission inquiries
- System alerts
Click the bell to see all notifications and mark them as read.
